Creating Your Personal Learning Networks: Tips, Tools and Strategies that will Activate the Way You Perform at Work & Achieve Your Professional Development Goals
In this workshop, we will cover some ways to look at where people are today – where they want to be tomorrow – and then fill the gaps by exploring some tools, techniques and strategies for them to close those gaps.
We’ll explore elements of your personal profile; build trust online; building reputation and credibility; curating learning and experiences; reflecting and sharing your work and projects; working out loud, and then also explore how you can use social tools and media for the purposes of building trust, sharing your expertise and building a personal learning community.
Ultimately, this workshop will be about using different tools and technology to help you build a strategy and a network to close your own knowledge and skill gaps but we’ll also look at ways to help your employees in organisations do the same for themselves – that how can L&D be role modellers and supporters of personalised learning for their employees and help support managers).
